The Stick Marsh, or Farm 13 may just be the hottest bass fishing in the state and maybe even the country. But why stop there. At times, it's hard to imagine any better bass fishing anywhere on this blue orb floating in space.
A 6,500 acre flooded impoundment, the Stick Marsh was formed in 1987. In opened to fishing about three years later and those lucky enough to discover it found the most exciting bass action you can imagine. Guess what? It's still that way.
The Stick Marsh has endured and seems to have only gotten better. The fish are not only plentiful, but there are some hawgs here and these water consistently produce some of the biggest bass anywhere.
Whether your thing is fishing a worm on deep structure, topwater baits on a misty morning, cranking the deep water or pitching spinner baits over the grass, Stick Marsh has it all. There simply is no way to describe this tremendous bass resource and no way you can be prepared for the experience.
For starters, it is a long - and I mean long - six mile trip down a bumpy dirt road to get to the water. One there, great ramp and dock facilities await but many would never expect it based on the ride out. This place is without a doubt, in the middle of proverbial nowhere. But that's OK, because the bass seem to like it just fine.
Because Stick Marsh big enough to give you plenty of elbow room yet small enough to sample most of it in a day, the chance of finding the fish you are looking for is greatly increased.

Let's go fish Stick Marsh

The Stick Marsh is one of my favorite places when lots of action and big fish are the goal. I have countless days of experience fishing this bass heaven and if you want to see what all the fuss is about, I am your guide ... Capt. Lenny
